As a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Kristen Konig has earned the knowledge and experience needed to treat a wide range of mild to severe health issues, concerns, and conditions. “Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I spent five years as a Surgical and Trauma ICU Nurse. It was this experience in an advanced level of care setting that inspired Kristen to take on a leading healthcare role. “I was inspired to become a primary care provider after caring for patients in the ICU. I realized my passion was prevention and helping my patients to remain healthy so as not to require acute hospitalization.

Kristen aims to inspire an understanding and commitment to healthy lifestyles and preventative wellness with all her patients. As a family nurse practitioner, I most enjoy the relationships I form with patients and being able to witness the positive changes in their health status.”  Kristen enjoys working with patients of all ages and walks of life from infants to geriatrics.

Kristen earned her nursing degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. When not caring for her patients, she enjoys biking, hiking, camping, reading, gardening, and spending time with family. She is married with a daughter and lives in Eugene.
