Anita Moghe has spent her career as a certified physician assistant (PA-C) dedicated to helping patients understand the importance of preventive care so they can lead their best, longest, and healthiest lives. “I like to promote preventative care as well as the body and mind concept with relaxation therapy like yoga and meditation. I believe in providing a holistic approach to each patient’s treatment planI also have some knowledge of Homeopathic and Ayurvedic medicinesI have experience managing diabetics, and I like to individualize diets and even share my recipes with my diabetic management patients. Before moving to Oregon, Anita lived in Canada and India. “I had medical training in India before I moved to Ottawa, Canada, in 1984. I practiced internal medicine and primary care here in the U.S. for twentytwo years before joining the Nova Health team.  

Today, Anita continues her consultative, and personalized approach to patient care by helping her Florence community patients understand that controlling their wellness is within their hands—and she is committed to helping them achieve their goals. “I feel privileged and rewarded to work in rural area where I can utilize my knowledge, passion, and compassion to help patients in need and guide them to the junction of a happy and healthy life. 

Born in Mumbai, India, Anita lived in Plano, Texas for 32 years before moving to Florence, Oregon to join the Nova Health team. She earned her physician assistant certification from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical and Allied Health School (UTSW) in Dallas, Texas in 1997. As her patient, expect Anita to make you laugh while in her care. “I like to tell funny stories or jokes to patients to ease their anxiety.” When not working, Anita fulfills her creative passions. “I love to cook and create healthy recipes, enjoy nature, and the outdoors. I love to be by the ocean. I love hiking, walking, gardening, painting, tennis, and community work and involvement.” Anita lives with her husband. Together, they have two children.
